Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Special Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year in Burnsville, MN. In-person, self-contained classrooms, full-time (37.5 hours/week) will provide therapy plans and IEP development in a collaborative school setting.

Ideal candidates hold a Minnesota Special Education license (PEL 3 or 4) and have classroom experience. Competitive benefits include W-2 employment with liability insurance and licensure support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Education or Related Field.
• Active Minnesota Special Education Teacher license through PELSB (Tier 3 or 4).
• Previous classroom experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create an inclusive classroom setting for all learners.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams.
• Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills.
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records.
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
