Job summary

Birch Agency is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for an elementary center-based program in Brooklyn Center, MN. This role involves a small caseload of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) with paraprofessional support and collaboration with a strong educational team.

You will provide individualized instruction aligned with IEP goals, develop and monitor IEPs, and support academic, behavioral, communication, and social-emotional development.

Qualifications

• Valid Minnesota teaching license through PELSB required.
• Special Education licensure required.
• Experience working with students with ASD preferred.

Responsibilities

Birch Agency is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for an elementary center-based program in Brooklyn Center, MN. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a small caseload of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) while receiving paraprofessional support and collaborating with a strong educational team.

Position Details

Location: Brooklyn Center, MN Schedule: 40 hours per week Days: Monday-Friday Campus Assignment: 1 campus Employment Type: Full-Time Classroom Information Elementary center-based special education program K-3 classroom (current students are all in 2nd grade) Primary population: Students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Small caseload of approximately 4-8 students Paraprofessional support provided
