Make an impact in the upcoming 26/27 school year as a Special Education Teacher supporting elementary students. This contract opportunity offers a flexible, part-time schedule—perfect for educators seeking a balanced workday. Based in the Spring Lake Park area, you'll work on-site at an elementary school, engaging with students in a supportive and collaborative environment.

As an ASD teacher is preferred for this position, those with experience or passion in autism spectrum disorder education are encouraged to apply. Alternative special education licensures will also be considered, broadening the range of qualified applicants. The role involves working five days a week, on-site, for a portion of each school day from September 1, 2026, through June 4, 2027.

Qualifications:

• Valid state Special Education teaching license (other licensures considered)
• Experience working with elementary students, particularly those with ASD, is highly desirable
• Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and families
• Excellent communication, organization, and adaptive teaching skills
• Passion for helping diverse learners succeed in inclusive classroom settings
