Milestones Day School in Waltham, MA is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant/Counselor to support students with autism spectrum disorders and related challenges. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote independence and implement accommodations within daily routines.

Responsibilities include supervising students in academic, therapeutic, and community settings, collecting progress data, and supporting individualized goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.
• Experience with behavior management and data collection strongly preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Responsibilities

• Provide training and supervision to students.
• Collaborate with team members to determine modifications and accommodations for student success.
• Work with a team to support students in an academic environment.
• Support students' processing to increase their therapeutic growth.
• Collect data across different skills and behaviors daily.
• Promote generalization of students’ acquired skills; Hours: Full-Time 7:30AM-3:00PM.
