Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist special education students one-on-one with classroom and daily living skills.
• Adapt classroom activities and materials to include all students.
• Confers with teachers/therapists for student needs and direction.
• Support instructional activities for individuals or small groups to meet IEP goals.
• Implement behavioral plans designed by IEP teams.
• Provide instructional materials as needed under supervision.
• Monitor students for safety in multiple settings.
• Record daily data on instruction/behavior for tracking DSC requirements.
• Handle record keeping and clerical tasks.
• Respond to emergency situations to resolve safety concerns.
