Requires CHRC background check and Educational Technician III credential.
Experience with functional life skills, adaptive programming, or transition planning preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication, cooperation and reliability.

Responsibilities

Support individualized instruction aligned with IEP goals, focusing on functional academics, communication and social skills.
Assist in daily living and self-care skills development.
Promote inclusion and access to general education and community-based experiences as appropriate.
Supervise or mentor support staff and work within a collaborative team.
Maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality with students and families.
Carry out duties assigned by lead teacher and building administrator.
Assist in preparation of instructional materials and classroom management tasks.
