RSU 40 Mid-Coast Maine is seeking flexible Educational Technicians (Ed Tech I, II, or III) to support students with diverse needs across special education programs. The role is program-based, working across classrooms and schools as student needs require.

Responsibilities include implementing IEP goals, providing 1:1 and small group support, assisting with routines and materials, and fostering safe, inclusive learning environments.

Educational Technician (Ed Tech I, II, or III)

RSU 40 is seeking flexible, student-centered Educational Technicians to support students across our special education programs. These positions work as part of a collaborative team to provide academic, behavioral, and functional support to students with diverse needs.

This is a program-based role, meaning staff may support students across classrooms, programs, and schools based on student needs.

What We’re Looking For

• Maine Ed Tech I, II, or III certification (or ability to obtain)
• Experience working with children (preferred)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility and willingness to support across programs
• Ability to remain calm, patient, and responsive in dynamic situations
• Commitment to student growth, inclusion, and dignity

Pay range $18.88-$31.53
