Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of related work experience preferred.
• Experience assisting students with learning and behavior goals.
• Ability to follow instructions and adapt to classroom routines.

Responsibilities

• Assists teachers in preparing and presenting instructional materials.
• Supports students’ learning, self-care, and social development.
• Attends meetings, workshops, trainings to receive and convey information.
• Communicates student progress to teachers for needs assessments.
• Documents observations of student performance for records.
• Escorts students to ensure welfare.
• Guides students in personal interactions and problem solving.
• Maintains instructional files and records.
• Monitors student performance and provides feedback per IEPs.
• Reports health and safety issues to staff and agencies.
• Supports students in various educational environments for safety.
• Performs other related duties as required.
