Qualifications

• Minimum of 60 college hours completed.
• Job-related experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain Missouri Substitute Teaching Certificate.
• CPR/First Aid training is preferred.
• Criminal background clearance satisfactory to the District.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in adapting and presenting instructional materials for individuals or small groups.
• Support students' learning skills, self-care, and social development.
• Attend meetings, trainings, and convey information relevant to the role.
• Communicate progress of assigned students to teachers and participate in needs assessments.
• Document observations and maintain written records as required.
• Escort and supervise students, ensuring welfare and safety.
• Guide students with disabilities in personal interactions and problem-solving.
