Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of job-related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists teachers in presenting instructional materials to reinforce learning concepts.
• Supports students' learning skills, self-care, and social development.
• Attends meetings, trainings, and workshops to receive and convey information.
• Communicates progress with teachers for needs assessments and progress evaluation.
• Documents observations of student performance for records.
• Escorts students to ensure welfare.
• Guides special education students in interpersonal skills and problem solving.
• Maintains instructional files and records.
• Monitors student performance and provides feedback per IEPs.
• Reports health and safety issues to staff and agencies for safety and compliance.
• Supports students in various educational environments.
• Performs other related duties as required.
