Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of post high school education or higher, or pass a state-approved test.
• Experience with behavior management.

Responsibilities

• Escort students to transportation and other areas of the building.
• Provide personal care to students with special daily living needs as needed.
• Review and practice skills with students 1:1 and in small groups.
• Work with students in school and on community outings.
• Prepare instructional materials as directed by the teacher.
• Reinforce instructional and behavioral objectives.
• Maintain student records and data for progress notes.
• Supervise students during recess, lunch, and playground.
• Maintain confidentiality of students and families.
• Reinforce goals for children.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
