The Town of North Attleborough is seeking a full-time Instructional Assistant for Elementary Education dedicated to supporting students in both separate and inclusive settings. The candidate will collaborate with Special Education staff to provide essential specialized instruction and modifications to help students access the curriculum.
Experience with children with social/emotional disabilities is preferred, and willingness to receive training in Crisis Prevention Intervention/Safety Care is required. Interested candidates should submit a cover letter and resume.
The ideal candidate must be able to support students in both the substantially separate and inclusive setting. The Instructional Assistant collaborates with the Special Education Liaison or Specialist to deliver the necessary specialized instruction, curriculum modification, and/or classroom accommodation needed for students to access the curriculum. Must have experience or willingness to work with children who have social/emotional disabilities. Candidate must be willing to be trained in Crisis Prevention Intervention/Safety Care.
Full-time. Salary and benefits as per NAFT Education Support Professionals Local 4292 Collective Bargaining Agreement.
