The Town of North Attleborough Education Department is seeking an Education Support Professional to join the Special Education team for a part-time 12-hour role at the Early Learning Center.
The successful candidate will support students in both substantially separate and inclusion settings, collaborating with the Special Education Liaison and be trained in Crisis Prevention Intervention/Safety Care as needed. Salary and benefits follow the NAFT Local 4292 agreement.
The ideal candidate must be able to support students in both the substantially separate and inclusions setting. The Instructional Assistant collaborates with the Special Education Liaison or Specialist to deliver the necessary specialized instruction, curriculum modification and/or classroom accommodation needed for students to access the curriculum. Must have experience or willingness to work with children who have social/emotional disabilities. Candidate must be willing to be trained in Crisis Prevention Intervention/Safety Care.
