Job summary

The Town of North Attleborough is seeking Education Support Professionals at North Attleboro High School to assist students in both substantially separate and inclusion settings. The role reports to the Special Education Liaison or Specialist and focuses on delivering modified instruction and accommodations to access the curriculum.

Candidates should be prepared to work with students who have social/emotional disabilities and be willing to be trained in Crisis Prevention Intervention/Safety

The ideal candidate must be able to support students in both the substantially separate and inclusions setting. The Instructional Assistant collaborates with the Special Education Liaison or Specialist to deliver the necessary specialized instruction, curriculum modification and/or classroom accommodation needed for students to access the curriculum. Must have experience or willingness to work with children who have social/emotional disabilities. Candidate must be willing to be trained in Crisis Prevention Intervention/Safety Care.
