Job summary

Town of North Attleborough is seeking a part-time Education Support Professional (24 hours) for the Early Learning Center as a Short Term Substitute. The role supports students in both substantially separate and inclusion settings, working under the SPED team to implement instruction and accommodations.

Candidates should have willingness to work with children with social/emotional disabilities and be prepared to complete Crisis Prevention Intervention/Safety Care training.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate must be able to support students in both the substantially separate and inclusion setting.
• Collaborates with the Special Education Liaison or Specialist to deliver necessary specialized instruction, curriculum modification and/or classroom accommodation.
• Must have experience or willingness to work with children who have social/emotional disabilities.
• Candidate must be willing to be trained in Crisis Prevention Intervention/Safety Care.

Responsibilities

• Support students in substantially separate and inclusion settings under SPED guidance.
• Collaborate with SPED staff to deliver instruction and accommodations.
• Assist with curriculum modifications and classroom modifications as needed.
• Participate in Crisis Prevention Intervention/Safety Care training when required.
