New Story Schools in Harrisburg, PA is seeking a Special Education Supervisor to lead instructional quality and staff development, ensuring high-impact, individualized education for students aged 5-21 with autism and related challenges.

You will mentor teachers, monitor compliance with Pennsylvania regulations and IEP processes, and collaborate across teams to maintain a safe, supportive, and academically strong learning environment.

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania Special Education teaching certificate.
• Bachelor’s Degree and PA certification.
• 3+ years of full-time special education teaching experience.
• Knowledge of Pennsylvania DOE regulations and IEP processes.
• Experience developing curriculum and behavior support programs.

Responsibilities

• Mentor special education teachers in lesson planning and compliance.
• Conduct classroom observations to guide practices and curriculum alignment.
• Participate in IEP meetings to ensure goals meet student needs.
• Deliver initial and ongoing staff training.
• Partner with the Special Education Director to improve outcomes.
