Qualifications

• Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement lesson plans and instructional activities prepared by the special education teacher.
• Maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Support accommodations and modifications outlined in IEPs.
• Provide differentiated instruction to meet individual learning needs.
• Supervise and support students during instruction, transitions, and activities.
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and administrators.
• Monitor student behavior using approved strategies.
• Leave detailed notes regarding instructional progress and concerns for the returning teacher.
