Job summary

Delta-T Group is seeking Special Education Substitute Teachers for immediate starts in the Glendale area. Positions will be placed at schools within the Glendale Elementary School District, with a Monday-Friday schedule and assignment fluidity across classrooms.

Substitutes will be used in grades K-8, teaching lessons prepared by the regular teacher. You will report daily activities in writing and coordinate attendance with the school secretary as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree is required.
• Valid Arizona Elementary / Secondary Teacher certificate or Substitute certificate.
• Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card is required.

Responsibilities

• Teach the lessons outlined and described as prepared by the teacher.
• Consult with the building principal before initiating any teaching or other procedures not specified in the lesson plan.
• Report in writing on the day’s activities at the conclusion of each teaching day.
• Verify attendance with the school secretary for the following teaching day.
