Job summary

Delta-T Group is seeking Substitute Teachers for IMMEDIATE STARTS in the Glendale area. Full Schedule Substitutes will be placed at schools within the Glendale Elementary School District, working Monday–Friday and potentially not teaching the same classroom each day.

Applicants must have a Bachelor Degree, a valid Arizona Elementary/Secondary Teacher certificate or Substitute certificate, and a valid Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree required.
• Arizona Elementary/Secondary Teacher certificate or Substitute certificate required.
• Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card required.

Responsibilities

• Teach lessons outlined by the classroom teacher and prepared in lesson plans.
• Consult with the building principal before initiating any teaching or other procedures not specified in the lesson plan.
• Report in writing on the day’s activities at the end of each teaching day.
• Verify with the school secretary whether attendance is required the following day.
