Job summary

Delta-T Group seeks Substitute Teachers to work in Glendale, Peoria, and Phoenix areas in K-12 schools. Positions include daily sub and long-term sub opportunities under an independent contractor arrangement.

Substitutes follow lesson plans, maintain routines, and create a conducive learning environment while upholding school policies and confidentiality. AZ Sub Cert and Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance are required, with a minimum of 6 months teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current AZ Substitute Certification.
• Must have Level 1 AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card IVP issued by DPS.
• Must have at least 6 months of teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Follows the lesson plans left by the teacher for whom he/she is substituting in accordance with district's philosophy, goals and objectives.
• Maintain as fully as possible the established routines and procedures of the school and classroom where assigned.
• Meet and instruct assigned classes in the locations and at the times designated.
• Maintain a classroom environment conducive to effective learning.
• Models non-discriminatory practices in all activities.
• Maintain confidentiality of all information concerning students, staff, or parent/guardian in any public setting.
• Assist in upholding and enforcing school rules, administrative regulations, and School Board policies.
