Job summary

Doral Leadership seeks a Special Education Coordinator to oversee special education services in assigned schools and programs in Georgia. The role ensures compliance with IDEA and related laws while supporting staff, students, and families.

The coordinator will implement leadership systems, monitor IEP/504 progress, coordinate assessments, and provide ongoing training for school personnel to improve outcomes for Students with Disabilities in inclusive settings.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to develop IEPs and 504 plans including initials, annual reviews, and reevaluations.
• Provide SDI to students with disabilities as documented on IEP.
• Ensure compliance with IDEA and related federal and state laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide SDI to SWD as documented on the IEP.
• Develop and monitor IEPs/504s including timelines and meetings.
• Manage scheduling and staffing to maximize student performance and compliance.
• Train and guide school personnel on special education/504 accommodations and related services.
• Collaborate with administrators and families to ensure accurate documentation and data submission.
