Job summary

Movement Schools seeks a Contract EC Coordinator to lead special education services on-site, ensuring compliant and inclusive supports for scholars with disabilities. You will collaborate with school leaders, teachers, and families to implement IEPs and monitor progress, while aligning with IDEA and Georgia rules.

The role focuses on coordinating EC services, managing GO-IEP timelines, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
• GaPSC certification in Special Education or eligibility.
• Minimum of three years in special education.
• Knowledge of IDEA, Georgia Rules 160-4-7, IEP development and compliance.
• Familiarity with GO-IEP and Infinite Campus.
• Strong communication with families and staff.
• Commitment to Movement Schools' mission and values.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee EC services per IDEA and GaDOE requirements.
• Manage GO-IEP milestones and IEP timelines.
• Coach teachers and service providers on IEP implementation.
• Support inclusive and co-teaching service delivery models.
• Maintain audit-ready EC records for monitoring and reviews.
• Communicate with families about services and progress.
