Qualifications

• Minimum of sixty (60) academic credits from an accredited institution or an associate degree or higher.
• High School Diploma or the equivalent, plus Ready to Work credentials.
• WIN Assessment: Silver level 4 or higher.
• Work Keys: Applied Mathematics 4, Reading for Information 4, Writing 4.
• ParaPro: passing score 456.

Responsibilities

• Acts as mandated reporter to ensure student safety.
• Adapt activities and materials under supervision to meet IEP goals.
• Administer tests and assignments to support student needs.
• Assist students with personal care needs as required.
• Communicate with staff and health professionals about progress.
• Escort students to ensure safe arrival and transitions.
• Implement interventions to reinforce learning concepts.
• Intervene to diffuse conflicts and minimize disruptions.
• Monitor daily schedule and behavior plans for safety.
• Provide instruction to students in various activities to support objectives.
• Supervise students in multiple settings to maintain a safe environment.
• Assist during emergencies and drills for safety.
• Collect data on IEP goals for progress decisions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
