Qualifications

• Minimum of sixty (60) academic credit hours from an accredited institution of higher education
• An associate degree (or higher) or High School Diploma (or the equivalent)
• READY to Work credentials required or WIN/work keys/ParaPro evidence

Responsibilities

• Aims to assist the teacher with supervision, care, and instruction of students with special needs in general education settings
• Assist in implementing instructional plans and monitoring student behavior
• Provide information to appropriate school personnel and support IEP goals
• Support safety and daily routines; supervise students during various activities and emergencies
