Job summary

Youth Villages is seeking a dedicated Special Education Coordinator to guide students with diverse behavioral and educational needs at our Tennessee campuses. You will lead IEP meetings, assess academic progress, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to tailor instruction.

Responsibilities include implementing trauma-informed practices, maintaining accurate records, and supporting students toward successful transitions to less restrictive settings.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Education preferred.
• Special Education certification required in applicable state.
• Experience in a school setting is required.

Responsibilities

• Teaches Special Education students.
• Leads IEP meetings.
• Administers testing and interprets results.
• Develops teaching techniques reflecting student needs.
• Prepares reports and maintains progress notes.
• Completes daily EMR documentation.
