Job summary

Hermitage Hall, a UHS company in Tennessee, seeks a licensed Teacher to plan curriculum, schedule classrooms, and prepare lessons meeting state requirements while addressing individual student needs, including those with IEPs. You will support daily living and behavioral skills and collaborate with a treatment team.

The role requires a TN teaching license, with an orientation period, and background checks; Special Education endorsement is preferred, with 1–2 years of related experience ideal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; TN teaching license valid.
• Valid TN Teaching License required; TN Teaching Permit acceptable within 3 years.
• Special Education endorsement preferred.
• One to two years of related experience and/or training.
• Must attend two-week orientation, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Plans curriculum, creates classroom schedules and prepares lessons and materials.
• Supports students including those with IEPs in alignment with state requirements.
• Assists with special healthcare needs and daily living/behavioral skills.
• Develops and monitors behavioral objectives with treatment team.
