The Department of Special Education in the College of Education at the University of Texas at Austin periodically hires professionaltrack full-time and part-time faculty to teach undergraduate andgraduate courses in Special Education. Positions are not availableevery semester and are contingent upon student enrollment and theavailabilityof funding. Appointments are made on a semester-by-semester basis, though sometimes a year-longappointment can be made. Salary and title are dependent uponresponsibilities and qualifications. These are non-tenure trackpositions.
