Qualifications

• Paraprofessional certification from North Dakota Department of Public Instruction required for Title 1 Schools.
• Experience assisting students with disabilities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists functionally disadvantaged or students with cognitive delays in educational programs and duties under supervision.
• Works with students with complex needs to support learning and socialization in classrooms.
• Supervises and instructs students, monitors behavior, and helps students stay on task.
• Assists with Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and learning plans.
• Maintains records, completes daily reports, and supports clerical tasks as needed.
• Communicates with students and staff while protecting confidentiality.
