Job summary

Minot Public School District is seeking a paraprofessional to assist students in classrooms with educational programs and special assignments. Under supervision, you will support teachers, supervise students, and help with learning tasks to foster a positive learning environment.

Hours per day are 6, and the role includes confidential documentation, behavior monitoring, and collaboration with staff. Some positions may require CPI/CPR training and a background check.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent required with paraeducator certification.
• High school diploma plus ND Paraprofessional certification acceptable.
• Background check and CPI/CPR training may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist students in classrooms with educational programs and special assignments.
• Provide support to teachers and monitor student behavior.
• Assist with individual and small group learning tasks and documentation.
