Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree preferred; credits accepted per district/state.
• ParaPro certification or ParaPro assessment may be required.
• Experience with children in educational or special education settings.
• Ability to collaborate with staff, parents and community.
• Commitment to ongoing professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Support students with special education needs and help implement IEP goals.
• Provide one-on-one or small-group academic support to students.
• Monitor student behavior and encourage positive classroom conduct.
• Assist with classroom organization, preparation of materials, and bulletin boards.
• Support students with personal care needs when required.
• Communicate student concerns and progress to teachers and other staff.
• Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment.
