Job summary

EDU-AIDs LLC is seeking a dedicated Paraprofessional to support students with special education needs and assist with daily classroom activities. The role involves one-on-one or small-group academic support, behavior monitoring, and helping to implement IEP goals, under the guidance of teachers and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Associate degree or college credits preferred (district/state varies).
• Paraprofessional certification or ParaPro assessment may be required.
• Experience with children in educational, childcare, behavioral, or special education settings.
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and community members.
• Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development.

Responsibilities

• Support students with special education needs and help implement IEP goals.
• Provide one-on-one or small-group academic support to students.
• Monitor student behavior and encourage positive classroom conduct.
• Assist with classroom organization, preparation of materials, and bulletin boards.
• Support students with personal care needs when required (e.g., toileting, feeding, mobility).
• Communicate student concerns and progress to teachers and other educational staff.
• Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Education

High school diploma or GED
