Cross Country Education in Norristown, PA is seeking a dependable Special Education Paraprofessional (PCA) for the 2026-2027 school year. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, prior experience with special needs, and current CPR/First Aid certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience supporting children or individuals with special needs preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification required; ability to complete all training.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with diverse learning needs, fostering academic, behavioral, social, and life skills development.
• Assist teachers with implementing individualized education and behavior support plans while promoting a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment.
• Support students with daily routines, classroom activities, communication, transitions, and personal care needs as appropriate to each student's individualized program.
• Collaborate with teachers and multidisciplinary staff to encourage student growth, reinforce positive behaviors, and support each student's unique learning goals.
