Job summary

Upper Perkiomen School District seeks Paraprofessional/Personal Care Aide to support students receiving special education services. Location is district-wide with assignments based on student needs. Reports to the Director/Supervisor of Special Education.

Terms include approximately 185 days and immediate start, with benefits such as healthcare, pension, and paid time off. Qualifications include at least 48 college credits and ParaEd Certification or willingness to obtain it.

Qualifications

• Experience in Special Education settings.
• Ability to implement and support behavior support plans.
• Capable of documenting progress toward goals.
• Maintain confidentiality and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Support students in various settings (one-to-one, small groups).
• Implement behavior support plans and de-escalation strategies.
• Document progress toward goals and assist with paperwork.
• Attend district trainings and support teachers.
