Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Highly Qualified per MDE requirements for special education paraprofessionals.
• Acceptance of students' disabilities and limitations.
• Must be able to lift, pull, or move a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Accepts direction from supervising teachers and works as a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with special needs in the classroom (behavior management, social skills, crisis intervention and instruction).
• Supervise special education students to ensure safety in the classroom and on premise.
• Assist with collecting and monitoring student progress data.
