Job summary

Sauk Rapids-Rice Public Schools is seeking a Temporary Special Education Level V Paraprofessional at Rice Elementary School. Work hours are 6.5 per day, 8:35 a.m. to 3:35 p.m., Monday through Friday, beginning immediately through roughly October 9, 2026, with potential extension.

Salary ranges from $20.58 to $22.91 per hour, with full-time benefits pro-rated for part-time roles. A pre-employment physical and background check are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; must meet MDE SPED paraprofessional qualifications.
• Acceptance of students’ disabilities and limitations.
• Ability to lift/move a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work under supervision as part of a team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma
• Highly Qualified per MDE requirements for special education paraprofessionals *
• Acceptance of students' disabilities and limitations
• Must be able to lift, pull, or move a minimum of 50 pounds
• Accepts direction from supervising teacher(s) and is willing to work as a team

SALARY and BENEFITS: Salary based on the 2025-2027 School Support Employees Agreement Level V from $20.58 up to $22.91 per hour.
