Job summary

Fallbrook Union Elementary School District’s Mike Choate Center seeks a Special Education Program Assistant II for full-time placement. The role supports students with a patient, respectful approach and collaborates with instructional staff to develop and present materials.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus an AA degree/48 college units or passing the district proficiency test; CPI certification is maintained. CPR/First Aid certification is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• AA degree or 48 college units or pass FUESD proficiency test.
• Maintain CPI certification provided by the district.
• CPR and first aid certification recommended or required.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with a patient, friendly attitude and provide general support.
• Assist instructional personnel with development and presentation of instructional materials.
• Support students individually or in groups to meet goals and growth.
• Assist with data collection and assessments for IEP goals and behavior support services.
