Job summary

Horry County Schools’ Myrtle Beach Middle is seeking a Special Education Aide to assist teachers in daily instruction and care of students with disabilities. You will support IEP implementation, supervise small groups, and help manage classroom behavior under the direction of the teacher.

The role requires flexibility for differing schedules, attentiveness to safety, and the ability to lift and assist students as needed.

Qualifications

• Candidate must be a paraprofessional with the ability to support instruction and student needs.
• Strong communication and/demonstrated ability to work with diverse learners.
• Ability to collect and report student data and assist with behavior plans.
