Job summary

Beaufort County School District is seeking a Special Education Paraprofessional to assist licensed teachers in serving students with disabilities. You will help implement IEPs, prepare instructional materials, and support students’ physical, emotional, and educational needs in a high-needs elementary setting.

Responsibilities include supervising students during meals and activities, supporting classroom behavior programs, and maintaining confidential progress records.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or 60 college credits or ParaPro score.
• Experience with basic computer operations and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of children with disabilities and related care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing student IEP goals and objectives.
• Support students with physical, behavioral and instructional needs.
• Supervise students during lunch, play and bus duty.
• Prepare and maintain classroom materials and records.
