Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support instructional program in assigned classrooms for special needs students.
• Adapt activities and materials to reinforce IEP goals.
• Administer basic first aid and medical assistance as directed.
• Assist with tests, homework, and makeup work.
• Support medically fragile students with daily needs and hygiene.
• Collaborate with teachers to evaluate progress and implement IEP objectives.
• Monitor students to maintain a safe learning environment.
• Perform data collection and record-keeping to support teachers.
• Provide classroom instruction under supervision across activities for reinforcing objectives.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in crisis intervention as trained.
