Job summary

Qualifications

• Must meet one of: 48 college units; an associate’s or higher degree; or pass a rigorous local/state assessment demonstrating reading, writing, and mathematics abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist a certificated teacher in reinforcing instruction to individuals or small groups.
• Tutor individual or small groups of students in targeted areas.
• Support behavior management in the classroom.
• Assist in preparation of instructional materials.
• Provide routine clerical support as needed.
