Job summary

South San Francisco Unified School District is seeking a Paraprofessional I - Special Education at Westborough Middle School to assist a certificated teacher in reinforcing instruction for students with mild to moderate special needs.

Responsibilities include tutoring individuals or small groups, supporting behavior management, preparing instructional materials, and providing routine clerical tasks. 6 hours daily, schedule is TBA, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or equivalent GED.
• Some experience working with children in learning settings.
• Ability to assist in reading, writing, and math instruction as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist certificated teacher in reinforcing instruction for individuals or small groups.
• Tutor students and support behavior management in the classroom.
• Prepare instructional materials and perform routine clerical tasks.
• Support flexibility in worksite assignments to meet student needs.
