Qualifications

• Assist in preparation and delivery of educational program for students with moderate to severe disabilities.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding work with students.
• Lift and position students (30–90 pounds or greater) with proper equipment and training.
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with teachers and related staff.
• Provide personal care to students as directed (toileting, changing clothes, feeding).

Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation of the educational program under supervision.
• Support students in both special education and general education settings.
• Demonstrate cooperation with a team approach across staff and teachers.
• Collect data and support accommodations and modifications as directed.
