Job summary

Humanus is hiring full-time Paraprofessionals (PCAs) to provide academic, behavioral, and emotional support for students with special needs during the 2026–2027 school year. Location: Quakertown, PA, working Monday through Friday during school hours.

You will assist teachers, support daily routines, monitor progress, and help maintain a safe, structured learning environment while participating in required trainings and clearances.

Qualifications

• 48 college credits or an Associate’s Degree is required.
• 1+ year of experience working with students in special education is required.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Excellent communication skills are essential.
• Must complete CPI/Safety Care clearances within 30 days and ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Support students with special needs throughout the school day.
• Assist teachers with classroom activities and IEP implementation.
• Provide behavioral, emotional, and academic support.
• Assist with daily routines, meals, transitions, and mobility when needed.
• Track student progress and share updates with school staff.
• Help maintain a safe, structured learning environment.
