Candor Consulting & Diagnostics is seeking a Special Education Paraprofessional to support students with disabilities in a classroom setting alongside dedicated educators in Lewisville, Texas. You will help implement IEPs, reinforce instruction, and support inclusion, behavior plans, and data collection.

The role emphasizes compassionate, team-oriented support, mobility and daily living assistance as needed, with CPR/First Aid preferred. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; college coursework or an associate degree is preferred.
• Experience in a school setting or with children and disabilities is preferred.
• Ability to meet Texas Education Agency/paraprofessional requirements.
• Willingness to support students’ academic, behavioral, social and functional needs.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with accommodations, modifications and IEPs.
• Provide academic support individually or in small groups.
• Support inclusion across classroom settings as needed.
• Help implement behavior plans and classroom expectations.
• Collect data and monitor student progress for recordkeeping.
• Assist with daily living skills as required while preserving dignity.
• Promote independence and self-advocacy among students.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to maintain a safe learning environment.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information.
