Job summary

Nimble is seeking a Special Education Para Professional for the Extended Resource Room/ CONNEXX Program to support students under the direction of the Special Education teacher and principal within a school setting in Idaho.

The role includes preparing instructional materials, assisting with small groups and individual instruction, and providing timely feedback while maintaining confidentiality and fostering a positive learning environment. Collaboration with staff to implement IEPs is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must meet Para Professional requirements.
• Associates Degree or 32 core credits or passing Para Pro with 460+ is preferred.
• Para Professional experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize materials for small group and individual instruction.
• Provide tutorial help and reinforce material as directed by certified staff.
• Observe and record students’ time on task and performance.
• Assist in identifying pupil needs and support instruction per IEPs.
• Follow modifications and accommodations as specified in IEPs.
• Attend faculty meetings and participate in professional growth.
