Job summary

Everett Public Schools is seeking a Paraeducator for the Extended Resource Room in Special Education for the 2026-27 school year. This position supports individualized education plans, helps students with academic, behavioral, and adaptive needs, and assists with health and safety procedures as required by each student’s plan.

Responsibilities may include implementing behavior plans, assisting with transportation needs, and potentially participating in Right Response training, depending on

• Supporting the implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEP).
• Assisting with academic, behavioral/social, and adaptive needs.
• Aiding in the Health Plan, toileting plan, and medical delegations as required by the student’s plan.
• May require Right Response training depending on program and student needs.
• Assisting in bus transportation when needed.
