Kuna Joint School District 3 is seeking an Extended Resource Room Paraprofessional to assist the Special Education Teacher in implementing goals per each child's IEP. Position involves working in Resource Room and regular classroom settings when appropriate, with duties including instructional support and record-keeping.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and relevant coursework or associates degree and Praxis Para Pro.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of college or 32 credits or an Associates degree or Praxis Para Pro cut score.
• Experience with school-age children preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Demonstrated ability to perform major duties listed below.

Responsibilities

• Assist Special Education Teacher with IEP goals and objectives.
• Provide instruction in Resource Room and regular classroom settings as needed.
• Maintain timely and accurate clerical records for the program.
• Help create engaging instructional materials and bulletin boards.
• Supervise students and manage behavior per school policies.
• Support personal care needs of students as required.
