Job summary

Sylvania Colorado is seeking a Paraprofessional - Special Education (.875 FTE) to support certified staff and students, implementing IEP objectives and assisting with instruction.

You will work with students individually and in small groups, help with classroom activities, and assist with supervision and safety. A high school diploma and basic computer skills are required, with benefits included.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with special needs students desirable.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist and guide students to reinforce reading, language arts, mathematics, and computer instruction.
• Work with students individually and in small groups to reinforce learning and implement programs.
• Assist professionals with administration and correction of classroom exercises.
