Job summary

Hill 35 seeks a dedicated paraprofessional to support students with disabilities within and outside classroom settings. You will assist with behavior management, self-help skills, and instructional programs under the PPCD teacher's direction.

Responsibilities include preparing materials, maintaining order, supervising during lunch, bus, and recess, and assisting with progress documentation and reports. Collaboration with staff and adherence to district policies are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with children who have disabilities.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the integration of students with disabilities with non-disabled peers.
• Help prepare instructional materials and classroom displays.
• Maintain a neat and orderly classroom.
• Support inventory, care, and maintenance of equipment.
• Keep administrative records and prepare required reports.
• Maintain documentation on individual students' progress.
• Supervise Pegasus students outside of school hours.
• Collaborate with PPCD teacher to evaluate lesson plans and activities.
• Adhere to district records maintenance and retention policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
