Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher required.
• Experience in diverse environments preferred.
• Experience with behavior interventions.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in the educational program and help in classroom management, lesson planning, and recording of student data.
• Facilitate students' travel from classroom activities and appointments by giving specific directions and monitoring independent travel.
• Attend staff and unit meetings as appropriate.
• This position will require supporting students 2:1.
• Monitor all activities to ensure safety and well-being and inform the teacher of issues.
• Collaborate with administrators, teachers and service providers to ensure safe, professional program activities.
• Participate in program and professional development activities in accordance with laws and regulations.
• Work with students to implement program goals.
